Over the past few years, he has been leading the Data Analytics strategy for the Internal audit function building leading Data Analytics and Innovation practice that involves use of data science and digital solutions to deliver assurance and value for the organisation.

Sachin is an Electronics engineer by qualification who has worked primarily in financial services for over 15 years across number of geographies involving APAC, Africa, UK, Europe, and Latin America.

Prior to joining Bupa, Sachin worked for Prudential across the 3 lines of defence delivering analytics consulting, customer behavioural analytics, financial crime, fraud investigations and embedding analytics practice across risk and audit functions.

Joana is a CIA qualified professional with 18 years of experience in Internal and External Audit, Risk, Assurance, and Internal Controls. In 2015, she joined the Bupa Internal Audit team, and during these years her expertise spans internal audit assurance, international projects, stakeholder management, project management and team leadership in Spain and the UK, covering both insurance and provision businesses.​

She has extensive experience driving the embeddedness of the 3 Lines and sustainable improvements in internal controls and risk culture.

In recent years, she has been heavily involved in the functional development and digitalization of the Bupa Internal Audit function, leading the implementation of a new audit management software and the development of AI tools.​

Amrit Bains, as part of AuditBoard's Customer Success team, collaborates closely with our EMEA customers across audit, controls, risk and compliance to support optimisation of the AuditBoard platform. Amrit kick-started his career at KPMG where he trained as a Chartered Accountant and external auditor, before transitioning to an internal audit role for a UK-based cooperative.
